Common FAQs

How does the 11kg capacity fit in a standard cabinet space?

LG’s big-capacity engineering expands the inner drum size while maintaining standard external cabinet dimensions (approx. 600mm width x 565mm depth), allowing you to wash larger loads without modifying your laundry counter space.

What is the main advantage of AI DD™ technology on the F4Y5EYGYPV?

AI DD™ evaluates both load weight and fabric softness through internal sensor feedback. It then tailors the exact combination of drum motions to deliver deep cleaning while reducing fabric wear by up to 18%.

Can I control this washing machine remotely?

Yes, built-in LG ThinQ™ Wi-Fi connectivity enables you to start or pause cycles, receive end-of-cycle notifications, track power consumption, and download new wash programs via the LG ThinQ™ smartphone app.

How does the Steam™ hygiene cycle work?

The Steam™ cycle generates pure high-temperature steam during the wash to penetrate deep into clothing fibers, neutralizing up to 99.9% of house dust mites, pet allergens, and bacteria.

Why is the Inverter Direct Drive motor more durable than traditional motors?

Because the motor connects directly to the wash drum without belts or pulleys, mechanical wear and vibration are drastically reduced, leading to quieter operation and enhanced long-term durability.
