Common FAQs

What does the “3” in the 5.1.3 channel configuration represent?

The “3” refers to the three vertical up-firing height drivers integrated into the top of the soundbar (Left Up-firing, Center Up-firing, and Right Up-firing). These project sound off the ceiling to create overhead height effects for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X content.

How does AI Room Calibration Pro improve sound performance?

AI Room Calibration Pro uses internal mics and test tones to analyze the room’s shape, size, and reflective surfaces. It then automatically recalibrates sound output, phase alignment, and gain levels to ensure balanced performance without acoustic distortion.

What is the advantage of LG WOWCAST capability?

WOWCAST allows the S90TY soundbar to receive uncompressed, multi-channel Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio wirelessly from compatible LG TVs, eliminating the need for an HDMI cable between the TV and soundbar.

Can I connect my gaming console directly to the S90TY without losing graphics performance?

Yes, the HDMI 2.1 input on the soundbar supports pass-through for 4K video at up to 120Hz, alongside Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Dolby Vision HDR.
