Common FAQs

What size hob is the LG HCEZ2415S2 recommended for?

It is designed for standard 60 cm hobs (gas, ceramic, or induction), providing full coverage over 3 to 4 cooking zones for optimal capture of smoke and steam.

How often should the aluminum filters be cleaned?

For typical daily cooking, it is recommended to clean the aluminum grease filters once every 3 to 4 weeks. They can be unclipped and soaked in warm soapy water or washed in a dishwasher on a gentle cycle.

Can this hood operate without external ductwork?

Yes, if external ducting is not available, the hood can be configured for Recirculation mode by installing optional carbon/charcoal filters (sold separately) to absorb odors before recirculating clean air back into the room.

What is the recommended installation height above the stove?

For safe and effective operation, the cooker hood should be installed between 650 mm to 750 mm above electric/induction cooktops and at least 750 mm above gas hobs.

How does the Stainless Steel and Black Glass design complement modern kitchens?

The contrast of brushed metal and dark glass pairs well with modern built-in ovens, microwaves, and glass hobs, offering a cohesive, modern aesthetic that is easy to wipe clean.
