Common FAQs

What is the benefit of the Auto Open Dry feature on the LG DFC435FP?

At the conclusion of the wash and dry cycle, the door automatically pops open slightly. This lets trapped hot steam escape and allows ambient air to circulate naturally, resulting in faster, streak-free drying without extra energy consumption.

How does TrueSteam™ protect glassware and improve sanitation?

TrueSteam™ generates pure high-temperature steam that penetrates and loosens tough, burnt-on food residue prior to the main wash cycle. It sanitizes dishes by eliminating up to 99.9% of bacteria and reduces water spots on delicate glassware by up to 30%.

How does QuadWash™ compare to traditional dishwasher spray arms?

Unlike traditional dishwashers with only two rotating spray arms, QuadWash™ utilizes four multi-directional spray arms. Two of these arms rotate and swing side-to-side, ensuring water jets reach every corner and crevice inside the tub.

Can I wash fragile glassware and heavy cookware in the same cycle?

Yes, the Dual Zone Wash feature allows you to adjust water spray intensity independently for the upper and lower racks, letting you gently wash delicate wine glasses on top while aggressively cleaning heavy pots and pans below.

What convenience does LG ThinQ™ Wi-Fi integration offer?

Using the LG ThinQ™ app on your smartphone, you can start or pause wash cycles remotely, download specialized programs (like Night Care or Glassware), receive cycle completion alerts, and run Smart Diagnosis™ for quick troubleshooting.
